                                                                                          Abstract

This study explores how leadership styles shape conflict management strategies in selected insurance companies in Metro Manila. Since strong leadership is key to fostering teamwork and resolving workplace disputes, the research examines how top, middle, and lower-level managers approach conflict resolution. Using a descriptive-correlational research design with a quantitative approach, structured surveys were conducted among employees and managers to assess their leadership and conflict management styles. The results reveal notable differences across managerial levels as top-level managers tend to be more transformational and visionary, middle managers strike a balance between strategy and daily operations, while lower-level managers focus on task execution with a moderate emphasis on servant and authentic leadership. These findings emphasize the need for leadership development programs tailored to each managerial level to enhance conflict resolution skills. Organizations can strengthen leadership training to boost managerial effectiveness, align leadership styles with company goals, and promote a culture of proactive conflict management. Additionally, these insights support human resource strategies by encouraging structured mediation, ethical competition, and collaborative decision-making. Future research could explore deeper and valuable insights into long-term leadership trends, comprehensive and extensive cross-industry comparisons, and the significant impact of organizational culture and evolving market conditions on leadership and effective conflict resolution practices.
