                                                                                          Abstract

Teacher well-being refers to a multidimensional state in which educators feel good and function effectively – both professionally and personally. This descriptive-comparative research aimed to assess the status of teacher well-being in the district of Los Baños, with 77 elementary and 75 secondary teachers as respondents. The results of study revealed that the emotional, physical, professional, social, and mental well-being of teachers is generally thriving. Teachers, therefore, are engaged, motivated, and supported in their roles while experiencing high morale, strong relationships, professional growth, and positive classroom climate. Furthermore, a significant difference was observed, using the Mann-Whitney U-test, in their professional well-being when grouped according to teaching position (P = 0.038, α = 0.05). Their emotional (P = 0.014), professional (P = 0.004), and social (P = 0.025) well-being likewise differed significantly (α = 0.05), using the Kruskal-Wallis H-test, when grouped according to age. These findings highlight the impact of age on various dimensions of teacher well-being, while stressing the limited predictive power of teaching experience alone. Likewise, it points out the importance of considering professional context—such as teaching position—isit www designing interventions to support teacher well-being, rather than relying solely on demographic profiles.
